‘Down Home Bebop’ – Ray Beadle and the King Brothers, 1999:
This acoustic trio was an offshoot of the Foreday Riders, suitable for smaller, more intimate venues, and while including some Riders material, the trio also covered a variety of country blues, swing and jump, and even a few excursions into stripped-down Bebop. Ray’s guitar chops are well displayed, especially when you consider that he was just 21 at the time.
