‘Herding Cats’ 2015: Well known as a member of the Bondi Cigars, singer/guitarist Shane Pacey had also fronted the Riders for a couple of years when ‘Herding Cats’ was recorded. The session was boosted by guests Bruce Bongers (baritone sax), Al Briton (bass, another Bondi Cigar), Carolyn Packer (keyboards) and the Riders’ first singer in the 60s, Jill ‘Buttercup’ Tweedie. All original material except for one track, a blowing favourite, Milt Jackson’s ‘Bluesology’.
